As we come into the holiday season, it's important to remember the less fortunate members of our community, and we at Chapman Northeast believe in giving back. Randy Chapman was volunteering at Philabundance when ABC caught up with him for a few words on the subject.

On behalf of the Bensalem Rotary Club, I  would like to THANK YOU for  donating and supporting our second annual Car Show and Family Fun day on Saturday, May 21, 2011.  It was truly a beautiful day.

The Bensalem Rotary Club is comprised of business, professional and community leaders that meets every Tuesday between 12:00 and 1:30  at Michaels on Street Road.  Our club membership is currently thirty two volunteers and growing.  All proceeds from the car show goes back in to the community, national and international projects such as:

-          scholarships to the high school and tech school students

-          helping people in the community

-          giving thanksgiving baskets to the less fortunate for the holidays

-          distributing dictionaries to each student in the middle school

-          helping people internationally with fresh water projects

-          eradicating polio throughout the world

-          helping the people in Japan with our shelter boxes

Your contributions certainly helped us attain some of the goals for this year.  The show raised approximately $14,000.  We will be looking forward to you contributing  to our third annual car show and family fun day next year.  Please watch for the announcements later on this year on our website.
